The Rec Center!

Hi everyone!

We wanted to show you what you will experience by going to the Rec Center. The Rec is the perfect place to workout, with a very nice track and cardio system on the top floor and a weight room on the ground floor of the building.

If you aren't the person to workout, you can enjoy playing some games of basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, etc. If you also have a passion for rock climbing, then the Rec is the place for you!

The Rec Center is located near Gemmell and is open seven days a week! Students can sign up throughout the year to participate in fall or spring intramural sports such as, volleyball, basketball, hockey, racquetball, dodgeball, etc. There are many activities going on at the Rec Center and they truly are a lot of fun!

Since we were on our way to workout at the Rec, we were able to capture some of the moments of the Greek life volleyball tournaments, basketball games, and other students enjoying the cardio and weight room.

We hope you enjoy!

Student Admissions Day

Hello again!

We wanted to show you something that happens frequently here at Clarion University. Student Admissions Day is an event that occurs throughout the year. Students who have been accepted into the university come to visit the campus, take a tour, and talk to different professors in their field of study.

Student Admissions Day runs through the Admissions office and occurs in Gemmell.  The students and their families are taken on tours of campus academic buildings and student housing including Suites on Main and Campus View.

The students who work in the Admissions office give the tours, and are able to help guide the incoming students and their families around campus.

Since we work through Admissions, we were able to capture some of the moments of the event featuring faculty, incoming students & families to show you what it is like to experience Clarion University.

Wingo

Hey guys! Gina and Kaela here!

Clarion University strives to give its campus community a better social environment and students and faculty want to add more Friday and Saturday social events throughout the year. One of the new events recently introduced was Wingo night.

We had a great time at Wingo night and wanted to share our experience with you. What is Wingo you might ask? Well, it is a night where students can get together, play bingo, and eat some delicious wings

It was held in Gemmell food court from 8-11 p.m. on a Friday night and was offered by Student Senate. It was a very fun, sociable event where not only do you get to meet new people by playing bingo, you also get the chance to win all kinds of cool prizes including gift cards, goodie baskets, Keurigs, a TV, and more!

Wingo had a great turn out and hopefully produces an even bigger turn out next time.  After watching this video, maybe you will want to participate in Wingo. We hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!
